Listed in alphabetical order below are the abbreviations and chart symbols used in MinKnit patterns.
c2-1l - cable 2-1 left - slip 2 stitches to a cable needle and hold in front of the piece, knit the next stitch from the left hand needle, knit the 2 stitches from the cable needle
c4l - cable 4 left - slip 2 stitches to a cable needle and hold in front of the piece, knit the next 2 stitches from the left hand needle, knit the 2 stitches from the cable needle
c4r - cable 4 right - slip 2 stitches to a cable needle and hold behind the piece, knit the next 2 stitches from the left hand needle, knit the 2 stitches from the cable needle
c6l - cable 6 left - slip 3 stitches to a cable needle and hold in front of the piece, knit the next 3 stitches from the left hand needle, knit the 3 stitches from the cable needle
c6r - cable 6 right - slip 3 stitches to a cable needle and hold behind the piece, knit the next 3 stitches from the left hand needle, knit the 3 stitches from the cable needle
c8l - cable 8 left - slip 4 stitches to a cable needle and hold in front of the piece, knit the next 4 stitches from the left hand needle, knit the 4 stitches from the cable needle

lcs - left crosshatch stitch - slip 1 stitch, knit 1 stitch, yarn over, pass slipped stitch over knit stitch and yarn over
lt - left twist - knit the 2nd stitch on the left needle from the back through the back loop and then knit the 1st stitch as normal, slip both stitches off of the left needle
m1 - make 1 stitch by placing a backward loop on the right hand needle
m1l - make 1 left - insert the left needle from the front to pick up the bar between the stitches knit into the back of the bar
m1r - make 1 right - insert the left needle from the back to pick up the bar between the stitches knit into the front of the bar
n1 - needle one
n2 - needle two
p - purl
pfb - purl into the front and back of the same stitch
pm - place stitch marker
psb - purl into the stitch below the next unworked stitch on the left needle, place the new stitch on the left needle
p2tog - purl 2 stitches together
p2tob-tbl - purl 2 stitches together through the back loop
p3tog - purl 3 stitches together
psso - pass slipped stitch over
pw - purl wise
rcs - right crosshatch stitch - yarn over, knit 1, slip both stitches back to the left needle, slip the next stitch (3rd stitch on the needle) over both stitches that were just moved, move both stitches back to the right needle

rs - right side
rt - right twist - knit the 2nd stitch on the left needle from the front and then knit the 1st stitch as normal, slip both stitches off of the left needle
s2kp - slip 2 stitches to right hand needle, knit 1 stitch, pass the 2 slipped stitches together over the knit stitch
